About TwelveLabs
TwelveLabs develops video-native AI models and software for turning audiovisual footage into searchable and structured information. Marengo creates embeddings for retrieval, while Pegasus generates descriptions, answers and time-based metadata. Developers access these functions through APIs and SDKs; enterprise integrations connect them to existing storage and data platforms. The company serves media, security, government and other organisations with large video collections.
Its physical-AI offering prepares first-person and robot footage for training-data workflows. Teams can define their own action taxonomy, identify timestamped task segments, generate captions and screen clips for visual quality or sensitive information. Structured outputs then enter the customer’s dataset and review pipeline. This is a data-preparation and evaluation layer rather than a robot control policy. General APIs are commercially available through subscription plans, while specialised robotics programmes involve direct sales and workflow configuration.
