About VLAI Robotics
VLAI Robotics builds anthropomorphic dual-arm hardware intended to lower the entry cost for physical-AI development. The company’s platforms combine modular arms and end effectors with controller access for imitation learning, teleoperation and real-world data collection. Earlier X-series systems provide a stationary dual-arm form, while the L and K lines add wheeled mobility for manipulation across a larger workspace.
K1 is the company’s most integrated mobile platform to date, pairing an articulated head and waist with two arms and an omnidirectional base. VLAI supports common robotics and simulation environments including ROS 2, MoveIt 2, LeRobot, Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab and MuJoCo, allowing developers to move between manual control, model training and deployment on the same hardware. The company launched K1 in China in August 2026 at a starting price of ¥19,800.
