K1

K1 is a dual-arm omnidirectional mobile robot for embodied-AI development and manipulation experiments. Its 25 controlled degrees of freedom span the arms, waist and head, while a four-wheel base supports lateral movement and rotation in confined indoor spaces. Each arm is rated for a 6-kilogram payload, and the wrists accept conventional grippers or dexterous hands; internal cable routing reduces exposed wiring around moving joints.

VLAI positions the platform for teleoperation, robot-data collection, imitation and reinforcement learning, and model-driven control. The software environment includes ROS 2, MoveIt 2, LeRobot, Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab and MuJoCo, allowing teams to move between motion planning, simulation and physical trials. K1 launched in China in August 2026 with an entry price of CNY19,800.
