About Whelix
Whelix automates cell-culture work through two systems built around its Teknician liquid-handling core. The floor-standing Associan workcell adds an automated incubator, refrigerator, heat bath, gripper and waste handling, covering feeding, passaging, imaging and plating with capacity for more than 45 flasks or one billion cells per run.
Teknician packages liquid handling and brightfield or fluorescence imaging in a supervised benchtop unit supporting T75 and T175 flasks and well plates. The Willow agent converts spoken or typed instructions into protocols that scientists can review and simulate in a digital twin before execution. Associan is designed for continuous unattended operation, while Teknician requires per-run setup and can connect to external grippers, plate readers and analytical equipment.
