Puma LE

AeroVironment Puma LE is a portable fixed-wing UAS built for longer-endurance intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. The 10.7-kilogram aircraft has a 4.6-metre wingspan, 2.2-metre length and standard endurance of 6.5 hours. It cruises around 47 kilometres per hour and carries up to 2.5 kilograms of payload.

Operators can hand- or bungee-launch the aircraft and recover it through an autonomous skid landing. A field-replaceable payload architecture accepts EO/IR and mission-specific sensors, while a secondary bay supplies power and Ethernet for additional equipment. Puma LE extends the Puma family into Group 2 performance while retaining field portability and common ground-control integration.
