About RHIC
RHIC, short for Robot of Human-Inspired Cultivation, is AgriPass Robotics' field robot for selective mechanical weeding. Its Adaptive Selective Tilling system builds a dynamic three-dimensional model of the field, distinguishes crops from weeds in real time and directs individual actuators to uproot weeds at root level. The system adapts across crop types, row spacing and field layouts without pre-mapping.
AgriPass has demonstrated RHIC on working farms and in specialty-crop fields, where the machine operates across multiple rows while limiting disturbance around crops. The adjustable chassis supports 1.52–2.03-metre wheelbase and working-width settings, and published field rates span 0.81–1.21 hectares per hour. The product remains classified as development because current evidence shows repeated field testing and demonstrations but does not yet establish a broadly verified commercial fleet.
