About Dino
Dino is Naio Technologies' legacy row-straddling robot for mechanical weeding of large-scale vegetable crops. Four driven wheels move the machine above crop rows while camera and GNSS RTK guidance keep its implements aligned. The open underbody accepts cultivation tools configured for the crop and row spacing rather than treating one tool setup as a universal capability.
The manufacturer describes Dino as the predecessor that gave way to Orio, so the profile preserves it as a legacy product rather than implying current sales. Its brochure reports a typical operating speed of 3–4 km/h and coverage of roughly three to five hectares per day. Those figures remain configuration- and field-dependent, and do not transfer to the successor platform.
