Optimus System
About
About Optimus System
Optimus System combines an autonomous multirotor aircraft with a fixed robotic airbase for persistent aerial operations. The airbase manages takeoff, landing, battery exchange, payload exchange and mission turnaround, while onboard processing supports data handling at the deployment site. Airobotics offers mission configurations for dual electro-optical and infrared video, LiDAR scanning, 2D and 3D mapping, and aerial delivery.
The system is intended for security, public-safety and critical-infrastructure work where repeated remote sorties are required. Mission software supports autonomous execution, live video and remote review without a crew stationed beside the aircraft. The 1-EX designation identifies the Optimus aircraft configuration that received US Federal Aviation Administration type certification in September 2023.
