CB18 Automated Guided Forklift

Bastian Solutions’ CB18 Automated Guided Forklift is a counterbalanced vehicle for moving and stacking pallet loads in manufacturing and distribution facilities. It carries up to 1,800 kilograms and raises its forks to 4,470 millimetres. Travel reaches three metres per second with the forks trailing and two metres per second with them leading, under both the listed loaded and unloaded conditions.

Natural-feature navigation uses 2D LiDAR and a mapped virtual path, avoiding dedicated floor guidance. The 48-volt lithium-ion vehicle has Category 3 safety architecture, five emergency-stop buttons, warning lighting and fail-safe electromagnetic brakes. Adjustable forks and a three-stage mast support rack storage, floor transfers and exchanges with conveyors, wrappers or automated storage equipment. Those interfaces and the facility traffic plan are commissioned as part of the wider material-handling system.
