About fischer BAUBOT
BAUBOT is a modular construction-robot platform offered in MRS15 and MRS5 configurations. MRS15 pairs a mobile base with a manipulator rated for at least 20 kilograms and reaches ceilings or walls up to four metres high. The lighter MRS5 uses a collaborative arm with 1.1–1.9 metres of reach and a 10–20-kilogram payload range for constrained slabs and indoor work areas.
Application packages configure the platform for hammer or hollow drilling, anchor setting, milling, picking and concrete printing. Baubot’s Planning and Simulation Environment imports BIM, point-cloud, CAD and drawing formats, checks reach and collisions, and converts the simulated workflow into an onsite mission programme. Obstacle detection and automatic stabilisation support supervised movement between work positions; task performance depends on the selected robot, tool package and site setup.
Timeline
- fischer BAUBOT wins Guinness World Records title for 24-hour concrete drilling
2025-10-30 - Award - The certified attempt on 10–11 September produced 3,717 completed concrete holes across wall, floor and ceiling applications. Each hole met the stated minimum 10 mm diameter and 50 mm depth, with no overlaps permitted. The robot ran for the full 24 hours with only brief scheduled stops for tool and drill-bit changes.

2022-11-16 - Product Launch - The system used a digital construction plan to automate drilling and fastening work on walls, floors and ceilings. Its workflow covered process simulation, autonomous movement, tool changes, dust extraction and installation-data documentation. fischer offered the robot through sale, rental and a managed service spanning planning, execution and documentation.
