About Oculus M-Series
Oculus M-Series sonar heads provide a 130-degree horizontal aperture and model-specific frequencies from 375 kilohertz to three megahertz. Operators can trade long-range detection against finer image resolution, with catalogue ranges extending to 200 metres and image updates reaching 40 hertz.
The compact aluminium units are rated to 500 metres and connect through Ethernet, while titanium MT and MD variants extend operation to 1,000 and 4,000 metres. Integrated pressure and temperature sensing supports sound-speed correction. The family mounts on inspection ROVs, work-class vehicles, AUVs and diver systems for navigation, structure inspection and target identification.
