About Boxfish AUV
Boxfish AUV is a 25-kilogram hovering vehicle with eight vectored thrusters and six-degree-of-freedom control. Mission-planning software supports grids, transects, waypoint capture, obstacle response and automated control of cameras and external sensors.
Depth options reach 300 or 600 metres, with endurance up to ten hours. DVL, USBL, stereo vision and inertial sensing support navigation and station keeping. Standard payload ports accept sonar, cameras and environmental instruments for inspection, mapping, marine research and environmental monitoring.
