DexCap

DexCap is a wearable upper-body capture system that measures arm, wrist and hand movement through magnetic absolute encoders. Its articulated structure maps human demonstrations into robot-compatible joint trajectories with low latency and stable measurements during extended collection sessions.

The system supports bimanual manipulation datasets, teleoperation and robot-policy training. DexRobot provides calibration, recording and export tools that synchronise body motion with hand and task data. The hardware is designed for repetitive sessions in laboratories, data factories and embodied-AI development programmes.
