MV-4

MV-4 is DOK-ING's remote tracked engineering platform for mechanical mine action and explosive-ordnance tasks. Front and rear interfaces accept a flail, tiller, EOD arm, dozer blade, rotational gripper or segmented roller. Low-light cameras, infrared illumination and a control range up to 1,500 metres allow trained personnel to operate the machine from outside the immediate tool area, while extension arms and a winch support self-recovery.

With the current standard flail, DOK-ING gives a mass of about 6,120 kilograms, clearance width up to 1,800 millimetres and working depth up to 300 millimetres. A 186-kilowatt Perkins engine drives the system, whose stated clearance rate is 1,400 to 1,800 square metres per hour. Alternative attachments have separate load and depth limits. Site survey, operating conditions, safety procedures and post-clearance inspection remain necessary parts of mine action.
