Dragon Runner 10

Dragon Runner 10 is QinetiQ’s compact remotely operated ground robot for inspecting places that are hazardous or inaccessible to personnel. At approximately ten pounds, it can be carried by hand or in a rucksack. Its durable body is designed to tolerate being thrown into an area for remote observation.

The operator drives it with a portable controller while remaining separated from the inspection location. The small vehicle can work beneath cars or within sewers and drainpipes, and it can carry remote sensors for reconnaissance. Its expandable design supports small-unit and first-responder tasks where portability matters more than the capacity of a larger robot.
