Op.n Platform

About

About Op.n Platform

Op.n is eCential Robotics’ modular platform for image-based navigation and robotic guidance in bone surgery. Its Core Station connects with compatible intraoperative 3D imaging, supports semi-automatic implant-position planning and controls the digital workflow through a touch interface. Pre-calibrated instruments and tracking arrays provide real-time 3D localization of compatible surgical tools.

The mobile cobot station integrates a seven-axis arm that can align automatically with a planned trajectory and compensate for motion while maintaining target alignment. The surgeon can handle the arm from the sterile area or return to navigation-only mode. In the United States, the stated indication covers navigation of compatible instruments during general spinal surgery, including posterior thoracolumbar pedicle-screw placement; broader bone-surgery applications remain part of the platform roadmap.

  • eCential Op.n adds FDA-cleared PERLA TL robotic workflow

2026-08-26 - Regulatory - FDA submission K261205 was cleared on July 29, 2026 and covers open, minimally invasive and percutaneous pedicle-screw procedures. The robotic reusable instruments couple Spineart PERLA TL screwdrivers and taps to a robotic adaptor for use in navigation or robotic-guidance mode. The cleared workflow is limited to Spineart implants included in the Perla by Spineart software and uses eCential’s separately cleared Op.n platform.
