About
About Mazor X Stealth Edition
Medtronic Mazor X Stealth Edition combines spinal planning, robotic guidance and Stealth navigation in one surgeon-controlled platform. Planning software uses preoperative or intraoperative imaging to recognize vertebral anatomy, select implants and define trajectories. During the procedure, the robotic arm aligns instruments to the plan while navigation shows their position against the patient's anatomy in real time.
The workflow supports open, minimally invasive and percutaneous spinal procedures, including screw and interbody planning, incision planning and navigated instrument use. Integrated Midas Rex and Stealth-Midas drilling options extend the connected toolchain under approved configurations. Medtronic commercially launched Mazor X Stealth Edition in the United States in January 2019 after FDA clearance in November 2018. It remains distinct from the earlier Mazor X system without integrated Stealth navigation.
