TrueView R20

TrueView R20 is a compact active electronically scanned array radar for detecting, tracking and classifying small uncrewed aircraft. It measures targets in three dimensions and processes movement, size, velocity and micro-Doppler characteristics onboard. Ground installations can combine several sensors around a protected site, while the airborne R20i form equips Fortem's DroneHunter interceptors and can receive supporting tracks from ground-based equipment.

The radar measures 206 by 81 by 85.5 millimetres and weighs 1.3 kilograms with its fan and shroud, dropping to 1.1 kilograms without them. Power draw is 38 watts. Its configurable field of view reaches 120 degrees in azimuth by 60 degrees in elevation, and instrumented range can be set from one to eight kilometres. Actual tracking distance varies with target class, geometry, clutter, placement and configuration; multiple viewing directions are needed for complete site coverage.
