About

About Griff 30

Griff 30 is Griff Aviation's modular heavy-lift multirotor for carrying cargo and sensor packages in industrial and emergency operations. It supports payloads up to 30 kilograms and uses a rapid integration interface for changing mission equipment. Available payloads include the Griff Claw wireless cargo hook with an integrated load cell and manual lockout, and the Griff Eye day-and-night camera. Foldable arms reduce transport volume, while removable skids accommodate snow and uneven landing surfaces.

Four 7.5-kilowatt motors and a 6-kilowatt-hour dual-battery system provide flight times up to 35 minutes without the full payload; Griff separately cites about 20 minutes when carrying 30 kilograms. The batteries use an ergonomic quick-release mechanism and recharge in roughly one hour. Maximum climb rate is 5 metres per second, stated gust tolerance is 20 metres per second and setup takes about 60 seconds. Payload, wind, temperature and mission profile materially reduce the maximum endurance figures.
