HaloBraid
About
About HaloBraid
HaloBraid takes over the repetitive strand-crossing and tensioning stage after a stylist has selected, sectioned and manually begun a braid. The chair-mounted mechanism guides the strands through a consistent pattern while the stylist retains responsibility for placement, parting, finishing and the creative decisions that determine the hairstyle.
The workflow is designed to reduce appointment time and strain on the hands, wrists and shoulders without turning the service into an unattended process. Halo has built more than 600 prototypes while refining tension, strand handling and salon ergonomics. The product remains at the stylist-waitlist stage before broad commercial delivery.
