About OT128

OT128 uses a spinning architecture to produce an unstitched 360-by-40-degree point cloud from one calibrated sensor. It detects 10%-reflective targets at 200 metres, reaches 230 metres maximum range and generates up to 6.912 million points per second in dual-return mode.

Hesai’s Intelligent Point Cloud Engine identifies and marks rain, fog, exhaust and road spray within the output. The IP6K7- and IP6K9K-rated sensor was developed through automotive-grade processes and supports robotaxis, autonomous trucks, service robots, logistics vehicles and fixed perception installations.
