XT32

Thirty-two vertically arranged laser channels and a rotating optical assembly let XT32 observe a complete ring around its mounting point. The resulting three-dimensional measurements can feed mapping, localisation and obstacle-detection software on mobile robots, vehicles or stationary installations. Its vertical field spans 31 degrees, and configurable rotation and return modes let an integrator balance refresh behaviour, point density and network load.

The scanner generates up to 640,000 points per second, with 0.18-degree horizontal and one-degree vertical angular resolution. Its stated measuring range is 0.05 to 120 metres and accuracy is one centimetre under specified conditions. The enclosure is 76 millimetres in diameter, 103.2 millimetres high, weighs 800 grams and carries IP6K7 protection. A zero blind-range design supports close returns, but detection performance still varies with target reflectivity, weather, mounting, calibration and the downstream perception stack.
