REMUS 130

REMUS 130 is a small-class autonomous underwater vehicle derived from HII’s modular REMUS technology platform. The two-person-portable system supports swappable energy and payload sections, open-architecture integration and operation to 100 metres.

HII positions the vehicle for mine countermeasures, search and recovery, rapid environmental assessment, marine archaeology and offshore survey work. Official specifications list missions up to 10 hours and speeds up to 5 knots.
