Flat Pack Actuator System

About

About Flat Pack Actuator System

JR Automation's Flat Pack Actuator System separates motor assembly from actuator assembly and testing. Fixture pucks carry motors between manual stations and a high-speed indexing dial, then through a queue to the motor-insertion station. The motor section can run independently at twice the rate of the actuator section and also supplies other lines in the plant.

Completed actuators enter one of 12 sealed, sound-resistant test chambers. Each part is operated while performance, torque, speed, noise and vibration are checked. Separating the production sectors gives scheduling and maintenance flexibility, while the queue connects their different cycle rates and preserves a controlled flow into final functional testing.
