About

About DPB Series

DPB is a dual-channel magnetic encoder family designed for robotic joints that experience impact, bending loads and changing internal clearances. Its separated magnetoelectric architecture uses multiple Hall sensors, two rotor magnetic rings and unit-specific calibration data, while a wider permitted air gap reduces sensitivity to structural movement during operation.

KingKong specifies dual 20-bit absolute output, dual ±0.05° positioning accuracy, a normal installation gap of 0.8 ± 0.3 mm, a shock-resistant dynamic range of 0.5–1.6 mm and operation at 20,000 RPM or higher. The official launch identifies integrated joints and quadruped robots as intended applications and states that the family is on sale.
