About RESOLUTE Optical Absolute Encoder Series
RESOLUTE reads a coded optical scale to determine absolute position immediately at power-up without requiring a reference move. Linear, rotary, partial-arc and multi-degree-of-freedom configurations provide resolutions down to one nanometre and support linear speeds up to 100 metres per second or rotary operation to 36,000 revolutions per minute.
Sub-divisional error is specified as low as ±40 nanometres with jitter below ten nanometres RMS. Interfaces support controllers from Siemens, FANUC, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Yaskawa and BiSS ecosystems. Functional-safety, ultra-high-vacuum and extended-temperature variants address precision machines, semiconductor equipment, robotics and antenna systems.
