VLX Series

VLX encoders use Netzer's non-contact capacitive Electric Encoder architecture, with no bearings, shaft, optical disk or other moving parts. The family is designed for hollow-joint integration where axial height, weight and immunity to shock, vibration, dust and moisture matter.

The current robotics and industry range includes VLX-25, 35, 60, 80, 100, 140, 170 and 247. Across those models, published outer diameters run from 25 to 247.7 millimetres, heights from 6 to 10 millimetres, weights from 3.6 to 220 grams and resolution from 17 to 23 bits.
