LUMI S4

LUMI Series 4 carries photovoltaic modules from the installation flow to their mounting position on utility- and community-scale solar projects. The robotic system grips both faces of a panel, controls its orientation and manages electrical leads during placement. This concentrates repetitive lifting and alignment in a mobile construction machine while site crews handle the surrounding racking, logistics and commissioning work.

Images captured during installation create a traceable record for each module and support electrical validation and checks for damage such as micro-cracks. Luminous has deployed Series 4 fleets at projects in the United States and Australia; its Australian programme includes the Goorambat East Solar Farm, where the company reported a fleet operating in 2025. Install LUMI and Pallet LUMI extend the product family into panel placement and site-wide pallet movement.
