About Maestro Platform
Moon Surgical’s Maestro Platform is a mobile two-arm system for laparoscopic surgery. The surgeon directly manipulates standard 5–10 mm instruments while the arms compensate for gravity and hold the selected instrument position when hand force is removed. ScoPilot lets the surgeon reposition the laparoscope through movements of the instruments already in hand, reducing reliance on a separate camera holder without converting the procedure into autonomous surgery.
Maestro is commercially available in the United States and European Union. Moon states that teams can progress from training to a first procedure in one day and cites a three-to-five-procedure learning curve. The platform’s 2025 FDA-cleared connectivity supports 5G and Wi-Fi data offload, while software version 2.7, announced in June 2026, added automated setup and expanded AI-assisted workflow functions under the system’s regulatory controls.
