About Moonlight
Moonlight combines a three-axis parallel mechanism with force sensing and adaptive control. The 38-kilogram robot provides a 400-millimetre vertical working range across a 1,200-millimetre-diameter workspace, with stated repeatability of ±0.05 millimetres, maximum speed of 1.5 metres per second and acceleration up to 15 metres per second squared.
The robot can be mounted at different orientations and uses a hollow tool flange for routing process equipment and vision connections. Flexiv’s Elements software supports graphical programming, jogging and floating hand-guided teaching through the Hesper controller. IP65 protection and force-sensitive operation support loading, unloading, polishing, fastening and inline processing where both speed and controlled contact are required.
