Ted

Ted is Naïo Technologies' autonomous electric straddle robot for vineyards and tree nurseries. GNSS-RTK navigation follows reusable field maps while the high-clearance chassis carries tools for inter-row and under-vine cultivation, shoot removal, mowing and other soil and canopy-management work.

The rear lift handles implements up to 600 kilograms, including electric and mechanical inter-vine tools, vibrotillers, ploughshares, finger hoes and discs. Ted can cover up to 6.5 hectares per day and is designed for a full working day after a mission begins. Naïo manufactures the commercial robot in France and supports vineyard mapping, commissioning and compatible-tool selection through its field teams and distributors.
