Nightshade ADX-1

About

About Nightshade ADX-1

Nightshade ADX-1 is a jet-class autonomous strike aircraft designed for rapid penetration where slower propeller-driven systems are easier to detect or intercept. Apollyon Dynamics states a speed of approximately 600 kilometres per hour and combines the airframe with terrain-following control for low-altitude flight.

The navigation architecture is intended to continue a mission when satellite positioning is degraded, using inertial and onboard terrain information for autonomous flight. Nightshade forms part of a wider Apollyon programme covering autonomous strike systems and deployable manufacturing infrastructure. The aircraft remains in development within Apollyon’s autonomous strike programme.
