TI-1 METIS

About

About TI-1 METIS

TI-1 METIS is TYTAN Technologies’ autonomous counter-drone interceptor. The current official product panel lists a six-kilogram aircraft, a maximum speed of 375 kilometres per hour, a range of 60 kilometres and an operating altitude up to 5,000 metres. Ground-radar cueing, onboard thermal detection and autonomous navigation support the search and interception sequence, with an operator retaining engagement authority.

The platform is designed to connect with external sensors, command systems and other effectors in a layered air-defence network. TYTAN uses additively manufactured components to support production and design iteration, and offers industrial integration for military counter-drone applications. METIS is the TI-1 model in the current range; the separate TI-2 EOS has its own configuration and ratings. Procurement agreements for Ukraine demonstrate contracted demand, without establishing that all ordered aircraft have been delivered.
