Perception Neuron Link
About
About Perception Neuron Link
Perception Neuron Link is Noitom’s wired inertial motion-capture system for continuous recording and multi-performer data collection. The current package comprises 15 inertial body sensors and a pair of motion-capture gloves connected through a wearable suit. It is intended for long sessions and complex recording environments where stable power and sensor communication are priorities.
The sensor network feeds a main computing unit that can connect to a host through RJ 45 Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Power is supplied through PoE or USB Type-C, so the wired sensor architecture does not mean every host connection must use a cable. The manufacturer specifies capture at 400 Hz or above, IEEE 1588 PTP time synchronisation and TCP/UDP interfaces. The system can expand into hybrid tracking for end-effector and prop interaction. It is available by quotation for research, simulation and motion-data acquisition.
