About Nova Carter
Nova Carter is Segway Robotics' production-ready development platform for autonomous mobile robots. It combines an RMP Lite 220 differential-drive base with a 64-gigabyte NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, 3D and 2D lidar, four stereo cameras and four fisheye cameras for full-surround perception.
NVIDIA Isaac software supports sensor fusion, mapping, navigation, simulation and fleet deployment, while the open ROS environment lets teams build custom logistics and research applications. The robot carries up to 50 kilograms and is rated for at least eight hours of operation. Replaceable batteries, a rugged chassis and preconfigured calibration allow the same platform to move from prototyping into repeatable fleet trials.
