About Armada A78
Ocean Infinity’s Armada A78 is a 78-metre steel DP2 multirole vessel for geophysical survey, geotechnical sampling and subsea inspection, maintenance and repair. Hull-mounted sensors, towed equipment, ROVs, seabed drills and cone-penetration systems can be deployed from the installed working areas. A removable aft bulwark also supports launch of Ocean Infinity AUVs over the stern.
The moonpool carries a modular automated launch-and-recovery system that can be operated through Ocean Infinity’s remote-control-centre network. Armada A78 remains lean-crewed, with facilities for up to 16 marine and payload personnel, and should not be described as a wholly uncrewed ship. The vessel includes tank spaces, fuel-cell rooms and an ammonia-ready notation for future upgrades; those provisions do not establish current ammonia propulsion.
