About REAV-47

REAV-47 is a 4.7-metre catamaran uncrewed surface vessel for nearshore survey and monitoring. The platform carries up to 200 kilograms of payload, travels at up to 6 knots and uses twin 5-kilowatt electric outboards. A 24-kWh fully electric configuration and a 12-kWh battery-hybrid version cover different endurance and site-support requirements.

HydroSurv rates the vessel for missions lasting up to 72 hours. Communications options include 2.4/5 GHz radio, 4G/LTE and Starlink, allowing supervised work across harbours and coastal waters. Payloads can support hydrographic, geophysical, oceanographic and environmental data collection. Delivered vessels include Bris for Nordic USV, with further units announced for the same customer and another platform supplied to GOSL in Nigeria.

  • HydroSurv confirms REAV-47 customer deliveries in Europe and Nigeria

    2025-07-15 - Production Milestone - Two configurations were offered: a fully electric 24-kWh model and a 12-kWh battery-hybrid model. USV Bris was the first of three REAV-47s for Nordic USV in Bergen. HydroSurv reported endurance of up to 72 hours for extended nearshore surveying.
