NEXXUS ROV

NEXXUS is Oceaneering’s high-power, heavy work-class remotely operated vehicle for subsea intervention. Its integrated tooling system directs the vehicle’s available power to intervention equipment and provides high-pressure, high-flow tool control. That architecture targets operations on blowout preventers and other subsea hardware where the tooling load is central to the vehicle configuration.

The system is built around the blowout-preventer intervention recommendations in API Standard 53. Oceaneering describes the integrated package as API S53 compliant and able to exceed the standard’s tooling recommendations. The product’s documented scope is intervention tooling, so propulsion, depth and dimensional limits remain dependent on the delivered ROV configuration and are not inferred from Oceaneering’s other work-class vehicles.
