About
About Robotics RB5 Platform
Qualcomm Robotics RB5 Platform is a development and commercialisation platform built around the QRB5165 processor. Its heterogeneous compute architecture combines a Kryo 585 CPU, Adreno 650 GPU, Hexagon 698 DSP and dedicated video analytics hardware, delivering up to 15 TOPS for on-device inference.
The platform supports seven concurrent cameras, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and optional 4G or 5G connectivity. Linux, Ubuntu and ROS 2 software support, robotics-focused interfaces and mezzanine expansion allow developers to prototype perception, mapping and navigation systems. Commercial hardware options extend from the development kit to system-on-module and chip-level designs for production robots.
