Remora Autonomous Aquaculture Cleaning Robot
About
About Remora Autonomous Aquaculture Cleaning Robot
Remora Autonomous Aquaculture Cleaning Robot is an electric net-cleaning system designed for daily passes around a fish-farming pen. Its compact body measures approximately 60 × 60 × 35 cm and weighs 23 kg in air. The mechanism is designed to cross stitching ropes and reach the splash zone, with installation requiring no cage retrofit.
Cameras and environmental sensors collect information during cleaning, linking net maintenance with repeated observation of conditions inside the pen. The system provides inspection and reporting alongside the physical cleaning cycle, so operators can follow changes over time. Frequent preventive cleaning is intended to limit the accumulation of fouling between maintenance interventions.
