Sharpa D01

About

About Sharpa D01

D01 combines two seven-degree-of-freedom arms with Sharpa Wave hands and body-wide electronic skin. The platform has 66 total degrees of freedom with the hands fitted, a rated five-kilogram payload per arm and a stated end-effector speed above 10.5 metres per second. A Jetson Thor computer runs the integrated control stack, with Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6 interfaces for development and operation.

Its electronic skin measures contact across the body at 100 hertz with 0.2-newton force resolution. Sharpa positions D01 for autonomous manipulation and native teleoperation, allowing a human operator using AE01 to transfer hand motion into contact-rich workflows. Sharpa offers D01 through direct sales for manipulation development and integrated teleoperation projects.
