About

About Skylark I-eVTOL

Skylark I-eVTOL is Elbit Systems’ all-electric fixed-wing VTOL mini UAS for tactical intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance. Vertical motors remove the need for a launcher or parachute and permit operation from land, urban sites, marine facilities and ships. The aircraft can be deployed in up to 15 minutes, uses a line-of-sight data link out to 40 kilometres and supports high-resolution stabilised electro-optical and infrared payloads.

The man-packed or vehicle-carried system operates with a two-person crew and can use launch and recovery areas smaller than ten by ten metres. Elbit lists concurrent control of multiple aircraft, encrypted links, GNSS-denied operation and integration with existing C4I systems. The eVTOL’s vertical launch and recovery hardware distinguishes it from Skylark I-LEX; family interoperability does not make the two aircraft duplicate products.
