Skyways V2
About
About Skyways V2
Skyways V2 is an autonomous vertical-take-off cargo aircraft built for long-range delivery to sites with limited transport access. The production platform has a stated maximum range of 450 miles, equivalent to about 724 kilometres, and carries a 30-pound useful load, equivalent to 13.6 kilograms. Its enclosed cargo bay holds one cubic foot, or about 0.028 cubic metres, and maximum endurance is approximately eight hours.
The aircraft uses JP-5 or Jet A-1 fuel and transitions between vertical launch and efficient forward flight. In 2025 Skyways deployed V2 for daily missions to RWE’s Arkona offshore wind farm, carrying loads up to 22 pounds on 50-mile round trips. The 26-minute aircraft journey replaced boat trips of roughly two hours, providing exact-product evidence for recurring offshore logistics in active industrial service.
