About Harry

Harry was Small Robot Company's precision-planting prototype for combinable crops. Its drill used a punch-planting method to place seeds at a uniform depth while limiting soil disturbance. The robot also recorded the position of each planted seed and passed that location data to Wilma, the company's farm-management and intelligence platform. That record was designed to connect planting with later plant-level monitoring and treatment across the wider Small Robot Company system.

The company described Harry at Technology Readiness Level 4, indicating a development prototype that had not become a commercially mature planting machine. Its archived product material presented precision planting as one part of a broader per-plant farming programme alongside scouting and selective treatment robots. Harry should consequently be understood as a historical development platform: the published evidence establishes its intended workflow and prototype status, but not general availability, production scale or field performance beyond that programme.
