Jetty V3

Jetty V3 is a precision thermal-weeding robot with a redesigned manifold that jets heated food-grade oil through 232 nozzles across an 80-inch bed. Tensorfield's May 2024 update reported quarter-inch targeting resolution at a travel speed of 1.2 mph, improving the spray pattern over its V2 engineering prototype.

A self-levelling payload keeps the nozzles close to the foliage as the chassis moves through uneven furrows. Depth cameras map changes in bed height, and the targeting software compensates for those changes when directing the jets. This combination of dense nozzle spacing, payload levelling and depth measurement is designed to reach smaller weed targets while travelling along the bed.
