About Tobi

Tobi combines a mobile semi-humanoid body with arms and a conversational interaction layer for work around older adults and caregivers. Twolabs is developing the robot to fetch objects, support feeding and dressing, provide medication reminders and act as a stabilising mobility aid. Social interaction is part of the same system, allowing the robot to combine resident communication with physical assistance and object transport.

Tobi also serves as a modular humanoid platform for collecting demonstrations, training skills and deploying autonomous behaviours. Early nursing-home and senior-living workflows provide repeated task data while human caregivers remain responsible for clinical judgement, personal care and safety. Twolabs is building the hardware and social-intelligence stack in-house and remains at an early product-development stage before broad care-facility deployment.
