About Unitree GD01
Unitree GD01 is a large rideable robot concept with a transformable body that moves between upright bipedal and four-limbed configurations. An onboard occupant controls the platform during public demonstrations, while powered joints coordinate posture and locomotion across the two movement modes.
The machine is presented as a civilian mecha-style mobility and entertainment platform and demonstrates Unitree’s work in high-torque actuation and whole-body control at larger scale. GD01 remains a prototype and exhibition system. Unitree has not released a standard commercial specification or general sales programme for the platform.
