HERO Family

HERO is a family of six fixed-wing loitering munitions: HERO 30, 90, 120, 400, 900 and 1250. The range spans portable anti-materiel systems through larger anti-armour, anti-fortification and strategic configurations. Gimballed electro-optical and infrared sensing supports target observation before an operator authorises or aborts an engagement.

Family members integrate with land, naval, rotary-wing and fixed-wing launch platforms. Aerial installations connect to aircraft avionics and allow control to pass between the aircrew and personnel on the ground, supporting reconnaissance and time-sensitive targeting from stand-off range. Individual models have materially different mass, endurance, range and payload figures. This family record therefore preserves the model boundaries in structured variant data without treating one specification as universal.
