VectorNav VN-100

VN-100 integrates three-axis accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers with a barometric pressure sensor and onboard processing. Its Vector Processing Engine produces a continuous 360-degree attitude solution, with magnetic heading accuracy of two degrees RMS and static roll/pitch accuracy of 0.5 degrees RMS under the specified conditions. IMU data can stream at 800 hertz and attitude data at 400 hertz.

Two packaging options serve different integration layers. The 24 × 22 × 3 millimetre SMD weighs 3.5 grams and mounts directly to a circuit board; the 36 × 33 × 9 millimetre Rugged unit weighs 15 grams and adds an anodized enclosure and connector. Both support configurable ASCII and binary messages, hard/soft-iron compensation and operation from −40°C to 85°C.
