Observer Vision Series

Voyis Observer Vision Series is a subsea camera-and-lighting family for low-latency ROV piloting and inspection data capture. The system combines an 8.1-megapixel colour sensor with integrated Nova Mini lighting, delivering 4K piloting video while also recording raw still images for photogrammetry. Its fixed-focus optics cover a 130° by 130° field of view, with onboard undistortion plus colour and lighting correction.

The platform supports 20 fps square imagery or 30 fps in 16:9 format and is rated for operation from 0.1 to 5 metres and depths to 300 metres. Ethernet, DDS distribution and ROS 2 support are intended to simplify vehicle integration. Inspection quality depends on water clarity, stand-off, lighting configuration, vehicle motion and downstream interpretation; the camera supplies corrected imagery and data products within a wider subsea inspection system.
